विवरण-
The scheme "MAGARA Area Development" is implemented by the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Rajasthan to promote the economic, social, and infrastructure development of the MAGARA area through the creation of community assets and the development of essential public facilities. It prioritizes works related to sanitation, safe drinking water, health services, rural internal roads, education, and village lighting. The scheme also supports the maintenance of assets created under development programmes. In addition, it promotes employment and livelihood opportunities through small and cottage industries, along with activities related to education, healthcare, archaeology, environmental protection, culture, and tourism.
पात्रता -
In the Magra region, 1715 villages of 16 Panchayat Samitis of 5 districts of the state namely Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand and Pali have been included.
