Details-
Launched on 7th june 2018, the scheme "Gaushala Biogas Sahbhagita Yojna" by the Directorate of Gopalan, Government of Rajasthan aims to increase income and achieve self-reliance in electricity through the installation of biogas plants of 100 cubic meters or more capacity in 25 selected registered Gaushalas. It focuses on making Gaushalas self-reliant in electricity and providing organic manure to farmers for biological agriculture.
Eligibility -
- The gaushala should be a registered gaushala.
- The gaushala should have ownership of more than 25 bigha of land.
- The gaushala should be maintaining at least 1,000 cattle.
- The gaushala should be among the selected 25 gaushalas under the scheme.

Registration Process:
Step 1: Visit the official portal of the Directorate of Gopalan. Scroll down and then click on "Online Application
for Gaushala Aid". User will be redirected to the Rajasthan Single Sign On portal: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Register here" tab.
Step 3: Select ‘Jan Aadhaar’ option for registration under the ‘Citizen’ tab.
Step 4: Complete the registration process by entering your Jan Aadhaar Number.
Step 5: After successful registration, you will receive a User ID (SSO ID) and a password. These credentials will allow you to check your application status and apply for the scheme in the future.

Step 1: To apply under the scheme, revisit the official portal of Rajasthan Single Sign On: https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Log in to RajSSO" tab.
Step 3: Enter your username (SSO ID), password, and Captcha, then click ‘Login’.
Step 4: Once logged in, update your profile.
Step 5: Click on the "Gopalan" icon, then click on the "Apply Online For New Gaushala Aid" option.
Step 6: Fill in the required information, and upload all necessary documents on the online portal.
