Vadh Se Bachaye Govansh Ko Sahayata Yojana

Details-

The "Vadh Se Bachaye Govansh Ko Sahayata Yojana" scheme, by the Animal Husbandry Department, Rajasthan, aims to ensure the welfare of cattle saved from illegal slaughter or smuggling. Registered cow shelters (gaushalas), municipal bodies, Panchayati Raj institutions, or other approved organizations are entrusted with the custody of such cattle. Financial assistance is provided for their fodder and care for the duration of custody or up to one year, whichever is shorter.

Eligibility -

Registered Gaushalas/ Nandi Shalas/ Kanj Houses/ Local bodies/ Panchayati Raj institutions/Other approved institutions which are taking care of cows rescued from cow smuggling/ slaughter.
